A voice note came out as the wrong words.
Tally Notes writes down the language set in Settings, under Voice notes. Automatic follows your iPhone’s languages, so a recording in another language needs that language picked first. Best accuracy, in the same place, lets Apple’s servers do the writing, which is often better in a noisy room.
My notes aren’t on my iPad.
Both devices need to be signed in to the same iCloud account, with iCloud on for Tally Notes. Settings in the app shows whether iCloud is syncing.
I forgot my PIN.
Tap “Forgot your PIN?” on the lock. Your iPhone’s own passcode, or Face ID, turns the PIN off, and your notes are all still there.
Can I get my notes out?
Settings, Export all notes, makes a zip with every note as a Markdown file, in a folder for each of your folders. Import notes takes Markdown and text files back in.
I deleted a note by mistake.
It waits in Recently Deleted for 30 days. Find it there and tap Restore.
